Roadmap

What is cooking next.

Two lists, kept apart on purpose: what the first version does, and what we are still building. Nothing moves from the second list to the first until it works in a real kitchen.

  1. 01

    One step at a time

Big type, big buttons, and the screen stays on while you cook.

  2. 02

    Timers in the steps

They keep real time, even with the app closed.

  3. 03

    Resume and offline

Reopens on the same step. Cooks with no signal at all.

  4. 04

    Safety and units

Safe temperatures on the step. °F or °C, your call.

That is the launch version, covered in detail on the features page.

In development

Being built now.

We will show each one when it works, not before.

In development

Voice control

Say "next" or "start the timer" without touching the screen. It is first for a reason: every other feature is worth less while your hands are covered in flour.

In development

Ask the kitchen

Out of butter? Pan too small? Halving the recipe? Ask, and get an answer for the step you are on, not a general article about butter.

In development

Whole-meal timing

Cook three dishes at once and have them land on the table together. The app works backwards from when you want to eat and tells you what to start when.

In development

Pantry and shopping

Know what you already have, buy only what you need, and see what you can cook tonight without another trip to the store.

How we decide

No dates, on purpose.

01

It has to work in a kitchen

Not in a demo. A feature ships after it survives a real dinner, with mess, interruptions and a phone that locks itself.

02

Reliability beats novelty

A timer that survives a dead battery matters more than a clever feature that forgets where you were.

03

The early list hears first

Every step forward goes to the list before it goes anywhere else, including what the app will cost.

04

We would rather be late

A date we cannot keep costs more trust than a delay nobody was promised.
